Funny. Just about a week ago we had like 50F and sunny. Not so much today!

Just two weeks later the colors are almost all gone and I am just trying to capture a glimpse of the post-peak glory. The weather is a bit windy and the leaves form little wind funnels making it more interesting to capture the feel of the early November in Blacksburg.





August 8, 2005

An annual event in downtown Blacksburg. Called “Stepping Out”, it is celebrated for two days on the first weekend in August. During the event there’s plenty of music, food, and entertainment. This is essentially an opportunity for the local merchants and others (some are making the trip all the way from Charlottesville area) to showcase their trade, arts, etc.
