The first snow of the year. It is not expected to last through the weekend so I stayed up late to take a shot of Alumni Center. Went by several other places but nothing turned out worth posting here.

Just two weeks later the colors are almost all gone and I am just trying to capture a glimpse of the post-peak glory. The weather is a bit windy and the leaves form little wind funnels making it more interesting to capture the feel of the early November in Blacksburg.

After a month of hiatus from campus photography, I blame football as I spend every weekend attending games and (more importantly) tailgates, finally I’ve got a chance to take a walk around campus. Usually at this time the colors are in full swing but because of the dry weather they are a bit late and not as pronounced…

Finally found some time to get out and have a stroll through campus. Absolutely gorgeous day outside. For some reason the summer heat hasn’t hit us yet, so it is very nice to be out of the office and out of the house. Lane Hall, Memorial dedicated to the those who served in the Desert Storm, Main Campbell Hall, The Inn at Virginia Tech, Torgersen Hall, War Memorial Chapel, and facade of the War Memorial Gym.
