I am not exactly sure what was the occasion. Ring Dance, maybe? Just driving around the drill field noticed the pyrotechnics preparing for the festivities.

…and just like that the 2005 is over…
First photo (Burruss Hall) is sort of a rarity. For some reason the lights are not placed on these firs every year. Don’t know why… Also, one last photo of War Memorial Chapel.

Just two weeks later the colors are almost all gone and I am just trying to capture a glimpse of the post-peak glory. The weather is a bit windy and the leaves form little wind funnels making it more interesting to capture the feel of the early November in Blacksburg.
