September 27, 2009

This update includes the 1928, 1930, and 1933 game programs for football contests between Virginia Tech and Virginia Military Institute (VMI).  Games were played at a neutral venue.

Additionally, I have uploaded scans of two football game programs from 2009 season: University of Nebraska at Virginia Tech (September 19, 2009) and University of Miami at Virginia Tech (September 26, 2009).

Click on the link to view these and other Virginia Tech football game programs.

Big thank you goes to Tim Barber for it was his contribution (1928, 1930, and 1933 programs) that enabled me to add these programs to my collection.

It is plausible to assume that the Miami (FL) at VT game program is going to be a rare one because of the weather conditions (heavy rain) during the game… not to mention that it was a match up between number 9 and number 11 teams in the country.

That was some game… and what a finish!  I must say, Nebraska fans were great, some of the best opponent fans I have ever tailgated with.  Here’s a link to the photogallery of Hokies tough 16-15 victory over University of Nebraska.
