It is true. I take a lot of pictures that are just a waste of time and effort. Take these for example:
- a “poster” with too much sky…
- a “wide angle” with trees getting in a way
- HDR with no focus (LOL! it’s true, I forgot to set the focus)
- another “photo stitch” with my shadow right in the middle of it…

…and just like that the 2005 is over… First photo (Burruss Hall) is sort of a rarity. For some reason the lights are not placed on these firs every year. Don’t know why… Also, one last photo of War Memorial Chapel. Merry Christmas everybody!

Finally found some time to get out and have a stroll through campus. Absolutely gorgeous day outside. For some reason the summer heat hasn’t hit us yet, so it is very nice to be out of the office and out of the house. Lane Hall, Memorial dedicated to the those who served in the Desert Storm, Main Campbell Hall, The Inn at Virginia Tech, Torgersen Hall, War Memorial Chapel, and facade of the War Memorial Gym.
Enjoy!

The first Virginia Tech calendar that I ever made. It all started as more as a bet than anything else. My family and friends kept bugging me about making something with all the pictures of Tech campus that I have taken in the last few years. Personally, I think they were just eager to see if they could convert me into a capitalist or something. Anyhow, here it goes. I hope you will like it.
January – Alumni Hall;
February – Williams Hall;
March – Torgersen Hall;
April – Lane Stadium;
May – Commencement Ceremony;
June – War Memorial;
July – Burruss Hall;
August – Squires Student Center;
September – Virginia Tech Cheerleaders;
October – The Highty Tighties, the Virginia Tech Regimental Band;
November – The Marching Virginians, the Spirit of Tech;
December – The Grove, home of Virginia Tech Presidents;
bonus (January 2006) – Lane Stadium (South End Zone).
